Summary

This repo extends the Social Media Lab @ University of Washington's Twitter data collection platform. https://github.com/somelab/toolkitdev

This release incorporates numerous bug fixes. Tweetstream was removed and the platform migrated to a deeper utilization of Tweepy (https://github.com/tweepy/tweepy), which is now threaded and handles Twitter's back off requirements. Efforts were made to start migrating config items into mongo, but this is on going and is seen as necessary for an eventual front-end integration.

A key new feature is that this release allows collecting streaming tweets from both Twitter's track and follow API calls.
