Summary
Nine soil cores (1 m deep) were collected from three sites within Barataria Bay, LA (USA). Both the biogeochemical properties of the soils with depth were determined, as well as the impacts of the introduction of oxygenated seawater on carbon mineralization rates. For a complete list of measurements, refer to the full dataset description in the supplemental file 'Dataset_description.pdf'.
